Social Equity Tourism Resources
- American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA) working to define, introduce, grow and sustain American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian tourism that honors traditions and values.
- MMGY The Black Traveler Insights, Opportunities & Priorities report is the first in a series of MMGY Travel Intelligence market research studies to be informed by diverse travel advocacy organizations to better identify the needs, behaviors and sentiment of underrepresented travel communities. Featuring a combined sample size of 8,500 Black individuals, it is the most extensive travel research conducted of the Black traveling community.
- Society for Accessibility in Travel & Hospitality (SATH) works to raise awareness of the needs of all travelers with disabilities, remove physical and attitudinal barriers to free access and expand travel opportunities in the United States and abroad.
- Tourism RESET a multi-university and interdisciplinary research and outreach initiative that seeks to identify, study, and challenge patterns of social inequity in the tourism industry.
